David Fattal Wins ITHIC Award in Rome
David Fattal, founder and chairman of the Fattal Hotel Group, was recently named Leading Hotel Owner in Europe at the Hotel Chains Awards, held during the Italian Hospitality Investment Conference (ITHIC) in Rome.
This honor comes a year after Mr. Fattal was presented with the Grand Prix at the 24th Hospitality Awards in Paris, recognizing his outstanding contribution to the hospitality industry.
The Hotel Chains Awards is intended to recognize the key players shaping hospitality in Italy and across Europe. The specific award received by Mr. Fattal recognizes chains that consistently demonstrate leadership and growth within the European hospitality market.
Fattal Hotels is the largest Israeli hotel chain active in Europe and this award positions Fattal among the world’s most influential hotel groups, with other recent winners including Marriott, B&B Hotels, BWH Hotels, and TH Resorts.
The accolade also comes at an especially meaningful juncture, in the wake of Israel being barred from the TTG Travel Experience fair in Rimini. It is clear that the mutual respect and friendship between the two nations transcend political tensions.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Fattal commented: “This award belongs to every single member of our team just as much as it belongs to me. They work with dedication and embody our values of excellence, professionalism, and an exceptional hospitality experience. Over the last 20 years, we have grown from a local to an international chain with a significant presence in dozens of countries, and we are continuing our expansion into new markets in Europe and around the globe. This honor testifies that our vision of making top-quality hospitality accessible to more and more guests is gaining support and appreciation on the global stage.”
